The original beast — where it all began
Only for the brave (and well-RAMmed)
Applied Energistics, Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, and Create form the core tech progression. Complete all terminals, factories, and contraptions.
Thaumcraft, Botania, Blood Magic, and Astral Sorcery interweave for magical progression. Many cross-mod interactions available.
Biomes O'Plenty, Twilight Forest, The Aether, and custom dimensions expand your world dramatically.
JEI, WAILA, JourneyMap, and mouse tweaks keep things manageable across 1500+ mods.
Get the latest Minecraft Java Edition launcher from minecraft.net. Make sure you've run the game at least once.
Download the correct Forge version for your chosen pack (1.12.2, 1.19.2, or 1.20.1). Run the installer and select "Install Client".
Download CurseForge, MultiMC, or Prism Launcher. We recommend CurseForge for the easiest experience.
Download the modpack ZIP, then import it into your launcher. In CurseForge: Create Custom Profile → Import.
This is critical! Set your RAM allocation using the slider below. v1.19.2 users: yes, you really need 27GB. No, that's not a typo. 🐏
Hit play, grab a coffee (or three) while it loads, and start your journey to 100% completion!
Minimum for v1.20.1. Tight, but doable.
Because it has over 1,500 mods loaded simultaneously. That's like asking why a bus needs more fuel than a bicycle. Each mod needs memory for textures, world gen, entities, and data. 27GB is the price of ambition. Your Chrome tabs are jealous. 🐏
Start with v1.20.1 — it's the most stable, has excellent performance, and is actively updated. If you're a Minecraft veteran craving more chaos, try v1.12.0 (The OG). Only touch v1.19.2 if your PC costs more than your car.
Check these common fixes: 1) Make sure you allocated enough RAM (see Installation section). 2) Update your Java to Java 17+ for 1.20.1, Java 8 for 1.12.0. 3) Update GPU drivers. 4) Remove Optifine if using shaders initially. 5) Check crash log for specific mod conflicts. Still crashing? Join our Discord for support!
CurseForge: Settings → Minecraft → Java Settings → Allocated Memory slider. MultiMC/Prism: Edit Instance → Settings → Java → Maximum memory. Vanilla launcher: Installations → Edit → More Options → JVM Arguments → change -Xmx value (e.g., -Xmx12G for 12GB).
⚠️ Not recommended! The pack uses extensive crafting tweaks, unified resources, and cross-mod compatibility patches. Adding mods can break recipes, cause ID conflicts, or crash the game. If you must, test in a separate profile first.
It means the goal is to complete ALL achievements/advancements and quests across every mod in the pack. Think of it as 100%-ing the game. There's a custom quest book tracking your progress. It's a marathon, not a sprint!
Yes! You can run a server with the pack. Server files are available on our Discord. Note: The server will need the same RAM allocation as the client (yes, 27GB for v1.19.2). We recommend dedicated server hosting for the best experience.
